Rebel Boats

TS REBEL is a coastal training station based on the Essex coast. We provide offshore, power boat, keel boat and yacht racing training for young people. We are a Recognised Training Centre for the Royal Yachting Association and an Independent Operating Authority for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme. We currently have eight training boats, two Mitchel motorboats, three Hunter Sonata keelboats, a Hustler racing yacht, a Westerly Oceanquest cruising yacht and a Halmatic powerboat.

Thames Shipwright Thames Fueller
Thames Shipwright is a Mitchell 31 MkII powerboat. It is used for powerboat training and as a keelboat support vessel. Thames Fueller is a Mitchell 31 MkIII powerboat. It is used for powerboat training and as a keelboat support vessel.


TS Leopold Muller Smokey Too
TS Leopold Muller is a Westerly Oceanquest 35' offshore cruising yacht. Used primarily for offshore training. Smokey Too is a Hustler SJ30 racing yacht.


Halmatic 19 Hunter Sonata
H19 is a Halmatic 19 powerboat. Ideal for powerboat training, only one of five specially commissioned for the Royal Navy. We have three Hunter Sonata 7m's (Riot, Trio & Tiro). They are all used for keelboat, SWAZ and racing training.
